Valley Longwall uses a unique forging technology to produce DDR71 Rods, eliminating the risk of welding cracks and possible failures.
The DDR71 rod is rated for 3,000 meters and features a unique forging, heat treatment process and coarse thread design to provide maximum pull-back torque with lower torque. Thread yield increased to 11,224 Nm.
DDR 71 threads have larger, deeper coarse threads providing maximum durability and pullback as well as lower make-up torque.
The DDR 71 is manufactured with a case-hardened pin thread. The result is a rod that has more than twice the thread life of competitor products.
