Located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), Valley Longwall Mining Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Beijing and currently employs 180 staff, including four foreign experts.  The management team of Valley Longwall Mining Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. including the President, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager, After Service Director, and Drilling Project Managers have extensive experience in underground coal mining operations, Inseam Directional Drilling, Gas and Water Management, Exploration Drilling and Strata Analysis.

In 2003, with the successful deployment of the first VLD-1000 drill rig (ZYL-2300D in nowadays version) manufactured by Valley Longwall Group at Shanxi Daning Coal Mine, China’s first 1,000-meter horizontal directionally drilled borehole was completed, this filled a critical gap in directional drilling technology for underground coal mines in China and marked the beginning of a new era in addressing coal mine gas challenges with directional drilling technology for the Chinese Coal Industry.

Valley Longwall Mining Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing and supplying the following core products:  VL Series 1000, VL Series 300, ZYL-2300D – track-mounted hydraulic directional drill rig, ZYL-6100D – track-mounted full-hydraulic directional drill rig, YSZ1000 (DCS) –Measurement While Drilling system (MWD). All products are certified with China’s MA Approvals, and the DCS the drilling guidance system additionally holds IEC Ex, ANZEX, EAC and ATEX certificates. In addition, we supply directional drilling consumables and spare parts to global customers, including: DDR71 Drill rods,CHD70 & CHD90 drill rods, HQ Recovery drill rods, 73-4/5, 73-5/6, 73-7/8, and 89-7/8 high/low-torque downhole motors and a range of drill bits.
